SINE Research is led by Dr Harry Taylor, a Manchester-based quantitative researcher with 20 years’ experience across universities, charities, local government, research institutes and private-sector organisations.
Analysis & evidence
I provide senior quantitative research and data consultancy for organisations that need experienced analytical leadership without a full-time data lead. I can help clarify the problem, design or review data collection, choose suitable methods, analyse existing datasets, and turn complex information into clear, defensible findings for reports, funders, clients or internal decision-making.
Survey tools & quality
I build practical tools that make survey analysis faster, cleaner and easier to repeat. I also support survey data quality work, including checks for duplicate, low-effort, suspicious, AI-assisted or otherwise unreliable responses.

SINE Research is led by Dr Harry Taylor, a Manchester-based quantitative researcher with 20 years’ experience across universities, charities, local government, research institutes and private-sector organisations.Harry has a PhD in Social Statistics and an MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics, both from the University of Manchester.Previous organisations include the University of St Andrews, King’s College London, the Alan Turing Institute, the Runnymede Trust, Coupa Software, LCP Consulting, Milton Keynes Council and Luton Borough Council.For consultancy enquiries, email [email protected].
