SINE Research provides senior quantitative research and data consultancy on a project basis.This can range from a short methods review or data-quality audit to a full analysis project, reporting workflow or ongoing associate consultant support.
Data lead support
Support at the start of a project, when you need to clarify the problem, define the research questions, review available data, choose suitable methods, or plan the analysis.

Survey tools and workflows
Practical tools to make survey analysis faster and easier to repeat, including Excel outputs, R scripts, Shiny dashboards, automated reports and reusable analysis workflows.
Data quality and bot detection
Reviewing survey data for duplicate, low-effort, suspicious, AI-assisted or unreliable responses, with clear documentation of checks, decisions and cleaning rules.

Reviewing research and survey processes end to end, identifying bottlenecks, duplication and opportunities for automation, and designing practical solutions to make them faster and more efficient.

About Sine Research
SINE Research is led by Dr Harry Taylor, a Manchester-based quantitative researcher and data consultant with 18 years’ experience in research and analysis across universities, charities, local government, research institutes and private-sector organisations.Harry is an ONS Accredited Researcher, listed on the UK Statistics Authority public register of accredited researchers, with experience working with secure and sensitive research data.He has a PhD in Social Statistics and an MSc in Social Research Methods and Statistics, both from the University of Manchester.Alongside consultancy work, he is an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Manchester and a Visiting Scholar at the University of St Andrews.
